Alchemy opened in January 2005 in Silver Spring, MD, with 25 artists.  Throughout the next three years we built an amazing community of artists, friends, neighbors, business associates and customers.  Surrounded by construction issues and lack of parking in South Silver Spring, Alchemy closed its doors after 3 years.  Although the brick and mortar storefront is no longer open, we still have indoor and outdoor artist markets monthly and we participate in special events.  We teach art classes and Brenda runs a Meetup group (click on the red Meetup tag on this page) where she teaches SoulCollage® and Artist Trading Cards (ATCs).  If you’re looking for an art class, let us know and we can probably find the artist to teach it!
